Dental Laser Technology

by admin on May 17, 2010

There is a new dental laser technology called WaterLase. This technology used hydrokinetic energy. Here’s how it works: Laser energy is absorbed by water droplets which then becomes laser energized water particles. When this is used on the teeth it can remove enamel and other forms of tooth decay.

This technology helps to reduce the used of the dental drill which is nice since you won’t have to hear that drilling sound anymore which often times is the worst part of going to the dentist. The WaterLase can be used for root canals, tooth enamel removal, soft tissue procedures and many other dental procedures.
